It can be about embracing how you look and feel.
It’s because people gush about how my photos made them feel. Everyone spends so much time comparing their phone snaps to magazines ads without understanding how much lighting and posing can change everything. If you want to see yourself in a new light, this might just be the place for you.

We understand that photoshop is sometimes considered to be negative. But we don’t use photoshop to “fix” your body, it can be used to change an angle, the color of your dress, or remove that one hair. We want our photos to be an authentic portrayal of you and do not want to change a thing about your body as it naturally is. We will review the raw photos together, choosing which will be edited for you.
We love friends! Sometimes we all need to have a cheerleader to help us see what we can’t ourselves. We welcome you bringing a friend to your session. We also encourage you to gift a session to a friend who needs the extra encouragement to be the center of attention as they deserve!
Generally I recommend applying a dash more makeup than you are used to. Having your makeup done professionally will help you feel more magazine ready but I can also do wonders in editing if you prefer eye liner retroactively!
Everyone approaches hair differently so my advice is to decide what might work best for you. Try to consider whether you want to look approachable with your hair down or maybe you want it up to give yourself power with it up. Also consider whether your hair will be working with your outfits and accessories. Professional blow outs and hair styling always add to a shoot but I’m sure you’ll look great even if you do it yourself!
For photoshoots I recommend people wear solid colors and not patterns. I am photographing you and I want clothing that brings the focus to you.
As I’ve photographed over the years I’ve acquired outfits(add link) which I am happy to share. I also want you to bring your own options so we know we have something that fits. Please share any images you have because I’d love to chat about what works best on camera. We also have the option to use Rent the Runway if you want to explore!
My home studio features ten foot tall ceiling. Trust that it is not small corner in a building and you are getting the full experience!
